Over the past few months, staff at specialist mental health provider Camino Healthcare have been getting to grips with an app-based care system to plan, record, report and coordinate care on smartphones, tablets and computers.
Nourish, the experts behind the technology, currently work with care providers across a range of services to deliver a digital care management system tailored to an organisations specific needs.
The app has now been rolled out in both Cromwell House and Oak House and will also be implemented in Camino Healthcare’s new unit Cedar Lodge when it opens its doors to Service Users in February 2019.
Daniel Daka, Service Manager of Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit, Oak House had this to say:
“Historically, many of our notes were paper based and could be quite time consuming to complete, we want to ensure our staff are on hand as much as possible for our Service Users – this technology provides the platform for us to do just that.
“It’s not about recording less information, it’s about empowering our care teams to record more accurate notes, in less time.
“I believe Nourish has helped us as company and enhanced the quality of our qualitative recording of patient care and the speed in which information can be communicated both safely and securely.”
At Camino Healthcare, we provide 24-hour care and support in our award winning mental health rehabilitation units based in the West Midlands. The service is for both men and women (18 – 65) with severe and enduring mental illness, mild learning disabilities as well as patients with forensic histories.
